I am a rising senior at St. Teresa’s Academy, Kansas City, Missouri. I became interested in the foster care system after researching it for my junior year capstone project. I was really disturbed to learn about the detrimental psychological effects the system had on children in the system and how little was being done to intervene. Since then, it has been my mission to bring awareness to the community and to help however I can.

I am the middle child, sandwiched between two brothers. I love to travel, play with animals and spend time with my best friend, Addy. I also enjoy creative writing and relaxing at the beach.

It means a lot to me that you join my efforts to help kids in the foster system and to help raise awareness in the broader community.
